Walking sticks are my newest endeavor.
Anything can be put onto a stick, although a little tricky with some things, but can be done.
These can be cut to any length, depending on if you would like a walking stick, hiking stick, or staff length. Sturdy enough to be used as a cane. If you are going to be using it for weight bearing, please let me know so I can get proper measurements from you to cut it to the proper length for you.
Bludgeons can also be made for the handy walking mate to keep you safe on the trails or roads.
All my sticks are from trees already cut down by neighbors trimming their trees or the railway and trail keepers cutting back. I would rather use them for a beautiful display rather than see them rot in a pile.
All my sticks are a variety of local hardwoods, dried and cured. Once I have burnt the design or whatever you want, I put at least 4 coats of urethane to protect them. I can put rubber caps or metal caps on the tips, if you would like.
